i used thes power shockes to take 2 whitetail deer during the 2008-09 season. they are accurate but other than that they suck. i did'nt like them beacause they lost a lot of energy at longer ranges anithing farther than 150 yards didnt do well. i think that could be resolved whith a lighter bullet. i will be using remington core lokts this season insted of these.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    I hunt with a 30/30 perfect for scrubby Michigan woods i only use Federal ammunition and i couldn't be happier every deer i have hit with the federal has dropped!! it surprises me to this day that the mild .30/30 can do that. But the damage that the soft point slug dishes out it's no wonder and i always find it under the skin on the far side so no lack of penetration either.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
