      I bought a new 30-06 this year for Deer hunting season and needed Ammo? I found these Federal shells on Gander Mountain with Free shipping so they cost less than $20.00 and Federal Ammo is a trusted brand and the Power-Shok Ammo has great knock down power. I use this brand Ammo in my other Deer rifles and it works good and the 180 grain shells are a major plus.

        Was just recently on sale at Gander, plus a Federal rebate on top of that. Dropped the price down to just over 50 cents a round. Very good quality - I've had no problems with the stuff. A good round that won't break the bank.

        This is a great bullet. I shoot prairie dogs all the time, and these bullets make them explode. I can get dead on accuracy at 300 yards (head shots). I love these rounds!

          I have used the 180gn Power Shocks in my 30-06 for two years and have always gotten 1.5" or better accuracy every time. I have taken two deer with these rounds, one at 50yds and one at 175-200yds, both through the ribs, and both went right down on the first shot. With this kind of performance, accuracy, and low cost, I could not imagine using anything else.
