    Comments about Federal Premium Hydra-Shok Ammo Combo, 9mm, 124 Grain:

    I have shot/carried 9mm Hydro-Shok since it came out in the mid-60's. At that time it was first restricted to LE, but the hours/situations of my job required concealed carry. This was before ballistic gel, so my testing was dirt pit - milk jugs and wet stacked newspaper up to 50+ feet.
    Penetration, expansion and accuracy was great with no misfires. Several decades(!) later, it still performs, and my wife and I will always carry a couple of full magazines - just in case.
