These shells are good. I haven't had any problems shooting them not like others have reported. Compared to the Remingtons and Winchester shells I haven't seen much difference in performance. The difference I did notice is the tighter pattern the shot holds when it hits the birds.

        I Bought the Black Cloud hoping to get better killing performance for my sons 20 guage. We could not be happier with the results!!! I have also started using it in my 12 guage. We are sitting here writing this review while breaking from our morning hunt. It's Nov. 13th and we killed 2 geese and 6 mallards this morning, all ranges from 30 - 60 yards no cripples or lost ducks. We are both using #2 shot in our Mossbergs with full chokes, mine is a Carlson extended choke and my sons is using the factory Mossberg choke. We are running out of ammo and will going to buy more today :)

            This is a good product. It hits harder than conventional steel, but not as good as lead did. I still prefer Federal Ultrashok. It's cheaper than Black Cloud and seems to be just as effective.

                  This is the best non-toxic shot I've ever used. I have been duck hunting for nearly 20 years and hunt 10 or more times a season. Black Cloud simply kills ducks like nothing I've ever shot. Most of my shooting is 30 yards or less over decoys, but I have killed several passing birds at 50+ yards as well. For ducks I use #4 and rarely have a cripled bird. If I'm hunting ducks and geese or just geese I shoot #2. I shoot an 18 y.o. Berretta 1201 autoloader and normally shoot my stock I.C. choke-- no need to buy the special Black Cloud choke.

                    Nothing bad to say. Decoying Geese at 40 to 45 yards no issue. My best pattern was 28in with modified. Best pattering shell was 3 1/2 2s at 40 yards put 18 pellets in kill zone. Shells do burn a bit dirtier than most but so what? Had to clean it anyway. Much less kick that Hypersonic.
