Here in ohio we have a 60 day season 1 in the north and 1 in the southern part of the state. I hunt bost and put about 70-80 days in all togather. 90% of that is duck hunting over water for me. I choose these shells this past season to give them a shot. They didn't let me down. I shoot 3.5 #2's and let me tell you 25-70 yards anything in it's path is going to hit the water. The group killed a couple hundred ducks this season and we all were shooting this stuff. It cut ower cripple #'s over half of what we had before. about 75% of the time when we hit them we stoned them. There are only 3 cons to these shells. 1 is the price a little high but very worth it. 2. is there are dirty i had to shoot a pump just because they were to dirty for my sbe2. Had no problems once i started using my pump. 3. Is if they are close you might as well not even try to mount them. But, being a high- school student that doesn't bother me much. Its alot easier on the pocket book.

Comments about Federal Premium® Black Cloud™ 3-1/2" Loads, 12-gauge:
i bought 2 boxes to use while hunting at Reelfoot Lake, very disappointed. Kent Fasteel works much better for me. I have a SX2 and the Kents cycle like a dream. The Blackclouds do have much more power and kick to get the shot out there, but I think the belts around the pellets affect the flight and pattern. Doesn't seem to be as accurate as the Kents either.

Comments about Federal Premium® Black Cloud™ 3-1/2" Loads, 12-gauge:
I've tried a few shells and brands on duck hunting, but none of them worked like how black cloud did. With black cloud you have the distance and the kill. I love how the way when I knock high birds down and people just ask, "What kind of shells are you shooting?". I just love that. I use #bb for small ducks and geese. Look out for the new "SNOW GOOSE black cloud 1650fps"
