Installation relatively easy. They recommend an in-line fuel filter ahead of the meter, but wasn't that big of a deal. Haven't had the chance to accurately verify its accuracy but from all indications it seems to right on target as a fuel tank gauge. The read-out is easy to see even in bright sunlight. The gal/hr readout does help manage fuel consumption. The controls are easy to use and reset.

Comments about Faria® Fuel Manager:
I installed the fuel manager as instructed, in fact due to the blog I installed a water trap and fuel filter BEFORE the fuel manager sender unit, to ensure that there was no way that dirt or water would effect the impeller and distort the reading.
It worked well for the first 1.5 hours (registering 40.5 litres of fuel used) and then on the return trip we miraculously only used 1.8 litres!)!
The reason for me purchasing the fuel manager is because I have an in-built fuel tank and the manufacturer has been unable to calibrate the tank gauge accurately.
Here's to a complete waste of time and money!
I find it hard to believe that Overtons endorse the sale of this product given the obvious issues that have been well documented on the Overtons site reviews!

Comments about Faria® Fuel Manager:
Product does not allow enough flow to supply my 175 HP Evenrude Ocean Pro. I idled out into bay and engine quit when I gave it gas. It took awhile to find that the sending unit is restricted and not enough fuel made it to engine. Has to disconnect on the water and find a pen housing to make it back to dock. Lost day.

Comments about Faria® Fuel Manager:
I installed this fuel manager as per the instructions. At first it seemed to work well.
It worked well for about the first two outings then on the third outing it started not registering except at high throttle settings, then it quit altogether except once in a while it will actually read near normal for a few minutes.
It was a huge dissapointment.
