[...]The only thing I wish that the transducer could have been installed inside the hull because I didn't want to mount it on the ouside of my boat. The good news is that the unit is compatable to my Airmar transducer that was installed at Centurion Boat factory. Great looking product

                • Q:

If you order the thru hull transducer is there additional costs and does the product to seal it to the hull come with the unit or is that a seperate order? If a seperate order, what is recommended and what is the cost? Also does the air and water temperature work with the thru hull transducer?

                    A:

The6 transducer that this comes with can be either a transom mount transducer or you can take the transom bracket off and epoxy the transducer inside the hull. There is no other item number for this item for that reason. You will need to get a tube of marine epoxy. Call us at 1-888-683-7866 for the instruction packet on how to accomplish this.

How would I install this unit onto a pontoon boat that can't be removed from the lake? I think I can figure out the gauges and all that, just worried about where to mount the transducer and the water temperature unit, are they separate?

I have this depth gage on my 2005 rinker, though it looks more like you fuel gage in its configuration. So I assume it is a older model. I would like a product manual on its operation.

Is this depth finder a good choice for a pontoon boat. My boat is a manitou and this is the type they use as an option. I have looked at the Humminbird as well, is one better than the other and is there anything to be considered when mounting the transducer? Thank you.

If you mean the depth it will penetrate into the dash it is well over 15mm with out measuring it I would have sad it was over 40mm 2" with the cradle and screws.

                • Q:

I want to add a depth sounder gauge to the flybridge on our aluminum hull houseboat. It has a factory installed one at the helm. It has a thru hull transducer. I don't want to drill any holes in the hull as the boat is in the water year round. Is there some way to "tee" into the current one.
