Comments about Shademate Extra-Long Big Top Sunbrella Pontoon Bimini Top:
I mounted the bimini on a 20 foot pontoon boat replacing the original one that was 7 years old. The installation would not challenge anyone who follows the directions, completing the process is a two person job. My disappointment comes from the frame stock not being as rugged as I expected. In fact I reinforced the main bow by sliding another tube inside the one provided by the manufacture. The bimini looks great both stowed and in use.

Comments about Shademate Extra-Long Big Top Sunbrella Pontoon Bimini Top:
We are very pleased with the construction and quality of this top. The extra shade cover is very nice. The extra height and bigger size has added weight to the top, and makes it a 2 person job to raise and lower. The installation directions were hard to understand, it took a long time to "get it right".

Comments about Shademate Extra-Long Big Top Sunbrella Pontoon Bimini Top:
Did not take much to install. I did however have to clean up the burs with a file where they holes had been drilled, but that's me being picky. I think I will prolly ditch the front rigid supports for straps and replace the self tapping screws for rivets. Over all very happy with it.

Comments about Shademate Extra-Long Big Top Sunbrella Pontoon Bimini Top:
I looked around for quite a while for a good price as well a good quality bimini top. I had replaced all my furniture on the pontoon boat and sure as you know it the wife says, "You know we're going to have to replace the top, it doesn't match!" Well after careful consideration, I went to your site and found the perfect top, actually a little longer. I was quite happy with the ease of assembly and the installation was just as easy. (two people recommended) I also liked the additional two (2) feet of coverage area. Good for me... [...] I've received many compliments for others pontoon owners. Kudos to all.

A:
JUST INSTALLED ON MY ROUND 1" DIAMETER RAILING. SIMPLY DRILL 2 HOLES THROUGH FOR EACH BRACKET AND BOLT ON MOUNTING HARDWARE. SINCE THE BOTTOM OF THE HARDWARE IS FLAT, YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE YOUR ROUND RAILING IS STURDY ENOUGH AND THAT YOU DRILL THE HOLES STRAIGHT. NOW THAT I HAVE SEEN HOW THIS MOUNTS, I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED TO ORDER THE 1.25" SQUARE TUBING FRAME.Answered on 6/15/2010 by JK from KINGSTON, TN

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
This item will fit a pontoon boat that is 8-8.5 feet wide and has 1 inch square railing widths. This bimini top is 10 feet long, front to back, and 75 inches high from the mounting points up.Answered on 2/16/2010 by Justin from Overton's
Q:
does the tubing snap together or is it screw togetherAsked on 2/7/2010 by Anonymous1 answer
VERIFIED BUYER
A:
Easy to follow instructions, mark off the tubing, then insert the square coupling tubing into the side and top structural components. Self tapping screws are used to attach each square tube. You can adjust the width if needed at this point. Afterwards, two people to complete the installation using the attached hardware went very smooth.Answered on 6/16/2011 by Fast Eddie from Bonneau, South Carolina
Q:
Will this bimini fit a 2001 Crest III classic?Asked on 7/6/2009 by Leonard from Mid Tn1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Our bimini tops are set up so that you can measure the area you need to cover on your particular boat and fit a bimini top accordingly. All measurements are based off the mounting points, so the height is to be measured from the mounting point straight up, the width is measured as the distance between the mounting points across the inside of the boat, and the length is up to your preference with the mounting points falling in the middle of the length. So for example, if you are looking at getting a six foot top the mounts will fall 3 foot from the beginning of the top. We do not list them by make model and year because then we could only fit bimini tops for specific boats, and this allows us to fit bimini tops for odd boats that wouldn't otherwise be able to fit a bimini top to!
Thank you for your inquiry. Please refer to http://www.overtons.com/advice_tips/how_to/select_a_bimini.shtml for instructions on bimini selection.Answered on 1/31/2010 by Justin from Overton's
