used on a island where I couldnt get machines to. I simply used a hard rake to break up the ground threw down the seed and turned rake over to flat side to cover. threw down some lime and 12-12-12 fertilizer. started to grow within 2 weeks. we did have quite a bit of rain so not sure if that played into it or not. seems to have a 70/30 mix of good seed to weed mixture.

Stuff worked like a charm. Planted it in a pine thicket after I hand raked out all the needles. Just threw it out and kinda raked it in a little bit and in 6 days it was about 2in high. Worked better than I had expected. Good Product.

Comments about Evolved Harvest Throw & Gro™ Food Plot Seed, 5 lbs.:
I planted in fall on my late grand parents property i just mowed the back yard down as low as possible and threw the seed out with a little 12-12-12 and in a week it was growing like crazy. I had used other products and never had any growth before.I have plenty of trail cam pics of deer eating the product. It is now spring and the plot is growing strong came back and all. I will and have purchased again for stand plots and am goin to purchase extreme radish throw n grow today!

Very effective and had 5 different bucks in the plot after two weeks of growth. Does what it says but you have to wait for the rake and clover to come in a little later underneth the grasses, but it's there.

I planted some in Spur Texas and it came up great, if you know anything about the area you know that it is very dry. I broke the soil up with a hoe pretty good alsoAnswered on 8/18/2009 by lop from Lubbock, txVERIFIED BUYER
A:
we had about 1 inch of rain over a 2 week period. Mine is growing good. I did throw done some lime and 12-12-12 when i planted it. I have done no supplemental watering. I also am in Michigan Not Texas. Depending on where you live(el paso vs texarkana) you may have to use supplemental watering. I dont consider 1 inch over a 2 week period alot of water though. Good Luck!!Answered on 4/27/2009 by Bradster from Grass lake michigan
