Product Description
evolved_harvest The forage plants in Maximize were developed for spring and summer planting and provide a consistent source of nutrients that help establish fawns and maximize antler growth in bucks. Forage soybeans and summer peas provide high-protein forage in the growing season until frost, while the grain sorghum and sunflowers supply a grain source that is available for both deer and game birds well into the fall. Comments about Evolved Harvest Maximize Food Plot Seed, 15 lbs.:

This bag of seed has no extra material like other bags, when you read the back. Price is very reasonable for the type of seeds. I have had very good luck growing this in small spots. The deer eat it right to the ground before its 6 inches high. I plan to keep buying more and more every year.

Comments about Evolved Harvest Maximize Food Plot Seed, 15 lbs.:

We purchased this product and LOVED looking at it over our Labor Day visit in Bradford County, PA. It was so beutiful, it just took your breath away when we first saw it. In fall, we harvested 5 deer in the late season out of our 1 acre plot. Each night, the deer came to this same plot as if there was a deer magnet in the middle of it. During archery season I harvested a 113" 8 point buck with an 18" inside spread. Out of this same plot in one evening I spotted 11 deer grazing. This product is a MUST HAVE for every obsessed/serious hunter!

I have not had a chance to plant this stuff yet in my plot but I did plant about a 2x2 area behind my house and MAN! This stuff sprung right up with nearly no assistance. I raked the ground threw it down and covered it. I cant wait to see it in my plot this year.

                  1. Plant after Spring green-up has started... don’t let your food plot be the only green thing for miles! This will reduce the immediate foraging pressure on your food plot when it first emerges. The first three weeks are crucial, as the plants need to establish adequate roots and multiple leaflets before heavy feeding pressure occurs. By planting while native plants are at the height of sweetness during the natural Spring green-up season, your food plot will have a significantly higher chance to establish.

                  2. Plant multiple food plots at the same time or plant large areas. By doing this you will decrease the pressure on some of the food plots and therefore increase their odds of establishing. This strategy works well with normal deer populations, but will need to be combined with other methods in areas with dense deer populations

I plant it in Mid-May when the soil temps are up and rain is in the forecast. It grows really well and I have had many bucks frequent the plots.
