Our family used our Tentragon 9 tent every weekend last summer (2008). Well constructed, easy to put up (the clips are easy unlike sleeves), it is spacious and holds all our gear. We like it so much we bought a Tentragon 7 for backpack camping. We slept in many all night rains and never had a leak once the tent was seam sealed. Sealer available at Gander Mountain. Great tent!

Used once, didn't rain but very damp out by lakeside, and I stayed dry, no fighting mosquitos or the ants. The tent was easy to set up even the first time at dusk, and easy to take down. My only gripe is that my tent did not come with a carry sack - I don't know if it was supposed to or not, but now I'm having to improvise.

Comments about Eureka! Tetragon 9 Family Tent:
I am a scout master and we have six tents that are ten years old that get a lot of use. The boys are not easy on them and they hold up great. We have one that the fiberglass poles have cracked and catch on the loop when they are putting them up but havent failed us. They are awalys cleaned and rolled up when we are done camping an i see them lasting a good long time.

Is this tent totally waterproof? Because i dont want to get woken up by the rain hitting meAsked on 4/7/2010 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
No tent is 100% waterproof. These nylon tents are fairly good at keeping out light rain, but to stay really dry, you need to tarp over and under the tent.Answered on 4/13/2010 by Aunt Snyd from Bowling Green, KY

Q:
Are the mesh areas always open or can you close them with a flap?Asked on 6/4/2009 by Anonymous2 answers
A:
They are always open, but the tent comes with a rain fly that goes over them. To stay really dry and warm, though, you will need to tarp over the tent.Answered on 4/13/2010 by Aunt Snyd from Bowling Green, KYVERIFIED BUYER
A:
There are mesh areas on the tent that can not be closed. However there is one window opposite side of the door that can be closed.Answered on 9/2/2009 by Very Happy Camper from Detroit Metro, MI

CUSTOMER CARE
A:
I would recommend placing a tarp under the tent so that the edges of the tent stick out over the tarp 3 or 4 inches. That way the rain cannot run onto the tarp and funnel under the tent. The tarp also helps on rough terrain.Answered on 3/18/2009 by Josh from Gander MtnA:
You will extend the life of the floor by using some type of ground cloth.
Small objects under the floor when walked on will try to get pushed through the material.
A ground cloth (nylon usually) will offer more resistance to water getting under the tent as well.Answered on 5/2/2009 by Voygemaster from Third World Country - MichiganA:
It's always a good idea to place a tarp between your tent and the ground -- it helps reduce moisture and cold.Answered on 4/13/2010 by Aunt Snyd from Bowling Green, KY
