The Eskimo Silvertip Hand Ice Auger is made with high-quality components and convenient features, ensuring you spend less time drilling and more time fishing. CNC ground curved blades are formed from a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel used most often in knife blades. The blades' hardness and wear-resistance are further enhanced by post-forming heat treatment. The result is an auger that slices through the ice with minimal effort and downward force. Its pommel handle allows for quick and easy turns, while the blade protector extends the life of your blade. The cross-bolt takedown prevents over tightening when you drill, making this auger superior to screw-together hand augers. It also telescopes to extend from 49" to 58" to cut through even the thickest ice.
