Had to make a minor modification to work as described. The rod is just cut off square creating resitance and they wouldn't spin in a hurricane. I just used my bench grinder to sharpen a point (like a dull pencil) and now they work great.

Love it! When there is wind it looks realistic by moving in a circle. Mourning Doves go crazy over it.

I bought 4 and was disappointed with these not spinning well. I bought 10 shielded miniature ball bearings 1/8" x 3/8" x 5/32" for $15. I had to do a little filing to fit a single ball bearing onto the wire spindle for each decoy, and now they spin GREAT. I am going to buy at least 4 more decoys (I still have 6 ball bearings...). I am also going to add a single vane of camouflage fletching under the tale that will catch the wind and really make these move well with the slightest breeze, and it won't be too noticeable to the birds from the air because it will be on the bottom of the decoy. I am really looking forward to using these next year.

Great Decoy for doves. A spread of 4-8 of these with some other Motion doves seems to really bring the doves in. The 360 spin that they are supposed to provide however is not a great feature it doesn't seem to work. I'm sure if I spend some time messing with them I can make it work well but as of right now they are just stationary decoys but the birds do come to them.
