Comments about Eastman Outdoors #10 Meat Grinder:

The grinder does a very poor job at grinding the meat. Rather than push the meat through the cutter and screen, most of the meat migrates back up the tube past the screw to the entrance. There are grooves in the barrel itself that allow the meat slip past the loose fitting screw.

Good exercise but doesn't grind meat.

Comments about Eastman Outdoors #10 Meat Grinder:

This grinder does not work very well. It is my opinion that it is not designed correctly. The barrel where the screw fits has groves in it, so instead of building pressure behind the die and cutter to push the meat through, the meat migrates back up along the screw to the entrance. The meat just circulates around the screw and not much comes out through the die. If you are looking for a cheap grinder, this is the one to buy. If you are looking for a grinder that works, I would look some place else.

Comments about Eastman Outdoors #10 Meat Grinder:

We wanted a cheap meat grinder to make some ground venison from this season and saw this one on sale in a store. I wasn't expecting much more than a sore shoulder from the grinding but was very disappointed in how LONG it took. I believe it boasts something like 60lbs/hour but there is no was that is possible with this. I will be returning it and spending a bit more for something that actually works.
