      My mail carrier swears by these. My son works at a busy shipping/receiving area of a rental store and solid footing is important while hooking up trailers, loading equipment, etc. I know he will be very pleased with these. He won't have to take them off when he goes into client facilities because they do not snag on rugs and carpets like the spring traction devices sometimes can.

        I will use my new traction aids for my shoes and boots.Getting through the parking lot a work is difficult because of standing water that freezes. I will also use them when on rescue squad calls on icy roads and driveways. I volunteer after work for the local rescue sqaud.

          The traction aids worked good walking behind the snow blower in my driveway, but I tried to use them for traction in the deeper snow at the range and they kept coming off. I almost lost them several times. They where ok for walking on the ice were you could see if they came off, but not for deep snow.

            A good choice for the casual user, they slip on and off easily and offer a solid bite into packed snow and ice. I wear a size 9 and was able to fit over a hiker style boot easily. I am not sure how they would hold up under heavy usage but they are ideal for a casual user.
