Perfect timber call!! Squeaks when called loud but its not meant to be called loud! Good raspy duck sound and i love this call. Immitates the feeding call very well and easier to get it perfect!

Great call, sounds real ducky and lower pitched. Sticks a little when u blow hard on it, but this call was meant for in the woods calling so no need to blow hard anyways. Love it!

I have a whole host of calls. I guess I'd be considered a "Hoarder" of duck calls. I have a number of the Duck Commander calls and tend to use mainly their brand (now). I got this one after being impressed with how quietly I could imitate the "Quack" and "feed" tones. Not often do I rip-off those long and LOUD hail calls. I hear A LOT of guys out in the marshes and lakes doing that so I just hunker down and let them blow the ducks over to me. Besides, I just ain't got the lungs or the gumption to do it. I ain't heard too many Mallard hens doing it either. I also don't believe it's very productive anyway. I really appreciate an easy call to play. It's really "ducky" sounding. Sometimes I wonder if it isn't too ducky. Not been shot yet so guess I shouldn't brag. Anyway, there was a time when I disliked the DC calls but now that I can appreciate them a bit more, I REALLY like them. Besides, who couldn't love a group of Cajuns with big, straggly beards! I'd recommend any of the DC calls to novices or veterans of the swamp.
