Need detailed installation instructions.

Since there were no istllation instructions I had to view the photo of the clips to figure out how to put the ties on the flag pole. I incorrectly guessed to put them directly on...Read complete review

Since there were no istllation instructions I had to view the photo of the clips to figure out how to put the ties on the flag pole. I incorrectly guessed to put them directly on the pole and not on the sticky-back tape provided thinking that the tape should be put below and above the ties so they would not slide together. That looked bad, so I cut those ties and put on some new ones directly on the rubber tapes. Just some instruction would have prevented trial and error.

        If you fly flags on your pontoon, then you'll be glad to have these. They attach with a couple of zip-ties and you're done! I use the little foam tape strips on the stern light pole to keep the ties from slipping on the slick, chrome surface, but just zip-ties on the other areas where we run flags.
        The attachment is spring loaded, so removing your flag(s) for storage and re-attaching them is simple and easily done.
