Made of durable 1" dia. aluminum tubing with comfortable, sturdy wide traction molded steps. Features vinyl-covered 11" hooks and adjustable standoffs with cushioned tips. We like the ladder and its construction but with our boat it does not work well. So as described in the comments we read it does fit all boats. The back and sides of our boat turn inward so the ladder leans inward making it a little more difficult to board. We personally think if there were another set of extenders at the bottom of the ladder and both set of extenders were longer, it would make boarding a snap. We ordered a four step thinking it would work better in deeper water but the 3 step would have been better.

We have spent years struggling to get in and out of our boat via the little rear ladder, while anchored out on the lake. We finally ordered the 4 step ladder. IT IS WONDERFUL! It provides us with easy access to and from the boat for swimming. We should have got this ladder a long time ago! Note: We drilled holes in the plastic caps on the tubing to let the water drain out. This is a MUST HAVE for active seniors like us.

      We have a deck boat that has a ladder but nothing to hold onto when you get off the ladder! This ladder hooks over the side and works for children up to a 6'8" basketball player. Best money I ever spent!
