Product Description
Dockmate Ultimate Whips offer a "plug and socket" design that allows quick and easy separation of the two halves for storage. Ultimate Whips also feature the unique rocker base. These aluminum adjustable bases incorporate a rubber shock absorber into their design for a greater range of movement. When tension is released, the whips will retract into a vertical position, eliminating the need to remove them in order to clear masts, fly bridges, or wake towers. All Dockmate Mooring Whips come as a pair with all necessary lines and hardware to complete installation. Note that some docking conditions may be too rough for this type of system. 4-year warranty. |

Comments about Dockmate Ultimate Mooring Whips, 12':
We are using the whips to hold a 21' Sea Cat with T-Top located on a wide tidal creek. The instructions are clear and the whips are well made and easy to install. They do exactly what they are supposed to do!

Comments about Dockmate Ultimate Mooring Whips, 12':
When purchasing mooring whips, you need to make sure that you pick the correct version. The Ultimate version should be selected over the Deluxe, if you plan on docking your pontoon boat with the bimini top up. With the bimini Top up, you will experience a clearance problem between the mooring whip and the bimini Top when docking. The Deluxe mooring whips has a fixed base that extends the Whips out from your dock at an angle. The Ultimate mooring Whips has a flexible base that allow the whips to swing to a vertical position when not being used. The Ultimate version resolves the clearance issue.

Comments about Dockmate Ultimate Mooring Whips, 12':
The base is very durable. The rubber "shock bushings" allow a wide range of motion of the whips to protect not only the boat but the dock boards from damage at the base.

Comments about Dockmate Ultimate Mooring Whips, 12':
I looked at a lot of mooring whips and believe me these are the best. spend the extra money. When you are on the water you need to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. When the worst comes you will be glad you spent a little more.
