                  How large is the "eye" on this line? The cleats on my boat 5" and there is a 3/4" center eye. The eye on the line must be large enough to go through the cleat and over the ears. I need three of these lines and three 5/8" snubbers.

                    A:

                    The spliced loop is about 12", but you might have trouble getting two strands of 5/8" line through the center of this small cleat. A line this large is overkill for such a small cleat.
