Came with no instructions on how to install. Plastic fitting used for adjusting the length and tension of the strap broke on one of the fenders after one use. After you figure it out, it is so easy to use and truly protects you PWC. I have tried all fenders for PWC's on the market and this is the only one that works.

Comments about Dockmate Hinged PWC Fender:
I have a Seadoo RXT and was having problems with the ski floating under docks and getting scrapes on it. These are the Best Fenders I have used or seen for skis, they protect very well! No more problems.I did change them a little instead of the strap i put on a rope with a 3in. suction cup. Hook it and stick it and you are done. dave

Comments about Dockmate Hinged PWC Fender:
Bought four of these (two for my girl friend's GTI 155 and and two for my RXT X 260). They work great around docks and even better when tied to other boats. The price is great too. These didn't come with directions but is very easy to figure out.

Q:
I just purchased 3 of these (Dockmate PWC hinged fenders) to use when I want to dock temporarily to eat, rest, etc. I have a 2005 Sea Doo GTX. I am inexperienced with boats, Jet Skis or any water craft. My understanding is that the bracket on the Dockmate fender hooks under the Sea Doo fender, but it is not clear what to do with the S-hook or the rubber block. Please advise (with pictures/diagrams if possible). -- Thank youAsked on 7/3/2010 by Ted from Virginia1 answer

Q:
What is the purpose of the rubber weight?Asked on 7/29/2009 by Bonz from Charleston, SC2 answers
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
That weight helps it hold its position.Answered on 10/9/2009 by Bryant C from Tech DepartmentA:
To clarify though, the rubber weight goes inside of a compartment if you do not have something to attach the hook to (especially helpful for the front fender, the rear fender can hook to the ski tow). Instead you would run the strap into the compartment with the weight, and that helps to hold it in place. Others have tried to put the weight inside the integrated hook on the back of the fender, because it does almost fit, however that is for attachment to the rub rail. The weight doesn't go there.Answered on 7/18/2010 by Lake Murray Chik from Prosperity, SC

It just hooks onto any pwc with an "S" hook at the end of the strap. Nothing special for any particular pwc as far as installation.Answered on 10/14/2009 by Overton's from Technician

I am having trouble installing these fenders on my Sea Doo GTI PWC. Any advice? Any tips?Asked on 6/3/2009 by Tim from Decatur, IL1 answer

A:
On most Seadoos, you should be able to hook one end under the rub rail and the other under the seat compartment. For the front fender, you can hook it under the rub rail and under the hood compartment.Answered on 6/4/2009 by Michael from Overtons
