I use these hinged fenders to tie my bass boat up to the dock when I'm unloading & loading my boat at the ramp alone. These fenders work great for the shape of a bass boat protecting the top rail and the sides from contact with the dock. They also are very compact for fenders and don't take up too much room storing them in my boat.

Comments about Dockmate Hinged Fender:
I like the way you can depend on these fenders staying in place and they protect the boats very well at the dock. Only problem with the first pair, the white color picked up stains from the water, so my next pair od fenders are black.

Comments about Dockmate Hinged Fender:
Purchased the hinged fender about 2 seasons ago. My use cycle is about 10 days a year, the rest of the time the fender is under cover. Boat is a 14 foot RIB. My fenders went "flat" in the second season. The fill states that its closed cell foam however my fenders feel more like bean bag chairs the pellets have leaked out of. For the price I will replace and they do function well on a low freeboard boat. Also forget the white color they look like heck after about 20 minutes against a dock and can't be cleaned.

We have a viaduct near out lake place to go from our small creek to the main lake. I use these to keep the boat off the cement walls so it won't
