Comments about Dockmate® Heavy-Duty Double-Molded Dock Profile - Large Edge Gard:
I believe it is a very good product, of course only time will tell. It is similar to the previous product I had which was used for 13 years and was still good when I changed it. Unless I am missing something, I really believe it will do the job. [...]There you go Overton...Good Job.

Comments about Dockmate® Heavy-Duty Double-Molded Dock Profile - Large Edge Gard:
I would agree that 8" spacing between attachment screws is recommended. We went with 12" spacing and ended up with a wavy appearance. Also the tightly wound packaging didn't help. We didn't have the option of laying out the material in the sun to warm and take out some of the kinks. No telling HOW long the strip had been rolled up in the box. We may pull some loose and reattach if the kinks and waves don't straighten out.

Comments about Dockmate® Heavy-Duty Double-Molded Dock Profile - Large Edge Gard:
[...] installation is easier with two people and magnetic drill bit so you don't drop screws in water if working on a boat dock. For uniform installation, I recommend a screw every 8 inches or so, if farther apart, the strip seems to curl between screws. Use screws with built in washer and don't overtigten

Q:
Does the top of the guard present a tripping hazard?Asked on 6/4/2012 by Anonymous from Annandale, VA0 answers
Q:
When is it best to use Edge Gard compared to the P-shaped bumperAsked on 10/2/2010 by poppa from tyler1 answer
A:
The P-Shaped guard is commercial grade, meaning it is a bit more heavy duty. If you constantly bump up against your dock, I would use the P-Shape.Answered on 10/20/2010 by Bryant from Tech
Q:
what corners go with this edge guard?Asked on 1/2/2010 by Anonymous1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
There is no specific corner that goes with any of the dock edging rolls. The supplier tells us that you can leave a bit hanging over on each side to sit against one another for the corners and that should suffice.Answered on 1/6/2010 by Overton's from Technician
