Q:I am going to build a wooden dock 6' x 16' out of pressure treated 2"x6" with a 2" x 10" band & center joist. How many of these will I need and what size should I get?
thank you SteveAsked on 12/1/2009 by Steven from Nashville, Tn
A:Take your square footage (6x16=96) multiply x 30 then divide by the buoyancy rate. 96x30=2,880 divided by 498=5.7 so rounded up it will take 6 of these. I found the formula online from several manufacturers.Answered on 11/24/2013 by KB in OK from Ada,OK
A:Under specs it lists the dimensions: 16"H x 2' x 4'
