Have NOT had time to install but the quality appears better that expected and the metal bases are substantial. Most of the competitive products use plastic! The instructions need better organization on the page but were passable. I am looking forward to using these mooring whips. They appear to be the answer to my big lake wind and wake generated wave problems at my dock.

We required bolts and nuts to install on an aluminum dock so installation was a little more difficult.

This product is great! We weren't sure how we were going dock our wave runners, but your mooring whips work very well. It keeps our runners from rubbing against the dock and still gives us plenty of room to move around. The sales service when ordering was excellent. We had to call several times during the order process, but your reps were very patient and friendly. Sometimes we didn't always get the same person, but everyone was on the same page and we got our order in the time they said it would arrive. We are very happy and pleased with your product. Thank you.

Comments about Dockmate Economy Mooring Whips, 8':
Using this for a small pedal pontoon (750 lbs) and have no regrets. It holds the boat in place on the river where some boats toss 2 foot wakes. Instructions were simple and clear as I have never used whips before. Only complaint I have was that the water at my home is about 4 feet below my dock so I had to purchase new rope because I was bending the whips, which the instructions say is a no-no. 100' of rope cost me [$] and I have spare rope if one frays down the road.

Comments about Dockmate Economy Mooring Whips, 8':
Very easy to set up, not many parts to it so, I had it up in approx. 30 mins. Works excellent for our wave runner which is a 13' , 4 person craft and the "Whips" keep the craft away from the dock even during rough waters. When we decide to get a pontoon boat we are most definitely buying the Whip system for the larger boat. Very impressed with this concept...
I cannot think of any complaints or negative feedback because there aren't any. To answer the question below: We have already recommended this product to a friend.

Perfect for my heavy 14'fishing boat. Wish I had purchased them years ago, so that I didn't have to drag my boat on and off the beach.

Comments about Dockmate Economy Mooring Whips, 8':
Have purchased many different sets of dock whips as we maintain many high performance ski boats.
these whips have performed as described and we have gotten longevity out of all of them.
I reccomend the 8ft. whips for Seadoos and small boats. We use the 12' whips for our boats that are 18' and up.

We used to be able to just tie up with good bumpers, but with those wake surfers going back and forth putting up the big wakes, it's an ocean now. The pwc's were getting beat up and even got a hole in one. Now they don't bang as much. The one where I have no constraints on how far out I can put, doesn't hit at all. The other I have to keep close, it hits a little, but at least I'm not getting holes in it.
