This smooth-rolling wheel offers substantial dock cushioning and features molded-in valves to adjust the level of firmness. Heavy-duty, hot-dipped galvanized hardware mounts securely to the dock. A large 2" dia. axle housing provides maximum strength. Mounting hardware not included.

Won't install with poles on corners

These look as if they would work incredible! However, they will not install if you have a any type of poles on the corners where you want to install them. Due to my roof over the top of my boat slip, the poles which are on the corner of the dock extending up to the roof prevent these from being installed. I wish they explained that in the description, now I have deal with a return

Ordered two. One needed to have a longer PVC bushing for normal operation. It was a standard size PVC pipe and easy to cut to proper length to exchange. After I exchanged the PVC bushing the dock wheel functioned perfectly. Easy to install.

  Couldn't say for sure, but I have a pair mounted on the entrance to my slip and they save me a lot of scraping as I back in with my 35 foot cruiser on windy days! My marina mounted them for me with brackets that they have especially designed for their docking structure. However, they come with their own brackets that should work in a wide variety of applications.
  
  Make certain that you get the larger size as they work best!

What is the main purpose of this wheel? Would this help to dock the boat? We have Pontoon boat that is 24 foot long. Will this help to get it in the Dock?

  Certianly will help keep the pontoon boat guided, but your dock must be at a height where the inflatable wheel will engage with the pontoon structure. Measure where your pontoons would contact the dock and if it is below the top of your dock, then these will probably not work or you need to go with a bigger size. These are best when the water levels are consistent or installed on a floating dock. I have a pair and they allow me to guide my sailboat into the slip when solo sailing without marring the hull
