          I am a long time dive in the Asian area. I mostly dive in the Philippines and have had many dives in Korea and Japan. This knife is a life saver as I once became tangled up in fishing net. After each dive you need to rinse in thoroughly in fresh water and occasionally take off the handle and clean that area also. I soak mine in high grade motor oil and no rust problems at all.

          The knife sheath seems bulky and clumsy when on your leg. The construction could have been made thinner and better formed so it fits the leg better. Possibly if it were not made out of the hard plastic, but another material, it would seem more comfortable. I do not dive, but am an avid Jetskier. It is always nice to have something for your safety with you wherever you are.
