    It's OK

Puts out a high volume of air. Doesn't come with mounting screws or zip ties. Wires coming out of the unit need to be longer.

                    It is 12 volt DC.

                • Q:

Do these run on 12 volts DC or 115 AC?
Asked on 6/12/2010 by Larry the boater from Tampa, Florida

                  1 answer

                  • A:

                    13.6 VDC specification voltage

So these inline blowers are NOT AC ( alternating current )

They are DC 12v power. The blower is made for boats and most boats are DC wired and have inverters on them to give you AC power if your boat has an AC plug.

Can you please tell me how many amps this unit would draw at 12vdc.

                  1 answer

                  • A:

The 3" will pull about 2.7 amps and the 4" will pull about 4.5 amps +/- about .9 amps depending on the installation. The longer the ducting and the more humid and cold the air the more amps the blower has the potential to use.
