Very sturdy and well built it was a little on the hard side to install mainly due to the boat and not the ski tow.

        A:

I would not attach this directly to the pontoons on a pontoon boat. This product is meant to be mounted through something very sturdy on your boat like the hull or transom wall. If you can find a place suitable to watersports on your pontoon boat to mount this to and it be safe to use then sure.

    • Q:

The tow ring that came on my Four Winns pulled out but didnt damage the transom as one of the nuts just came loose. Will this be a bolt on replacement to standard tow ring? I dont want to drill any more holes.

hi, yes it is. you just may have to drill the holes alittle bigger or drill them alittle oval to make it fit. alot of people do that. thanks

Answered on 7/7/2009 by mike from Overtons
      • A:

Whether you end up drilling or not, be sure to use as much silicone as you can squeeze in when you thread the bolts - you don't want water in your transom, especially if you have a wooden core that can rot!
