In your line of work, there is no typical day on the job. So Danner overbuilt the Striker II EMS Boot with puncture-resistant midsoles and CROSSTECH blood-borne pathogen-blocking technology. Built on the TERRA FORCE X Lite platform, the boot boasts superior fit, heel-to-toe energy transfer, side support to enhance maneuverability, and protection from arch overwork and fatigue. The full-grain leather upper can be easily polished and is preferred by those in uniform and on special tactical teams due to its durability and ability to be cleaned quickly. The CROSSTECH fabric lining is engineered to deliver superior penetration resistance against water, blood, body fluids, and common accident-scene chemicals while still providing the breathable comfort of GORE-TEX. The nylon shank offers added stability where you need it most. The Armor Flex II midsole is a lightweight, flexible nonmetallic insole that exceeds ASTM F2413-11 standards for puncture resistance by 70 lbs. (successfully tested 340 lbs.). The Danner TFX Lite outsole resists oil and slips, generating the grip and traction you need without all the excess weight. The side zipper allows for quick, easy entry and exit. The lightweight Pro-Tec nonmetallic toe meets or exceeds ASTM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 EH standards for protective footwear and meets or exceeds NFPA 1999-2008 Edition certified to SEI. Nonmetallic construction won’t set off metal-based security systems. CSA certified to -2195. 8” shaft height. Weight: 3 lbs. Available in medium and wide widths. Imported.
