Smokejumpers and other wildland firefighters depend on their boots to perform in the most dangerous and demanding conditions. Danner’s Wildland Firefighting boots have been a tool of the trade for decades, and each new version just gets better and better! The Flashpoint II Boot gives wildland firefighters and smokejumpers the toughest, safest, most comfortable boot that human hands could build. The upper is crafted from rugged, 8-oz. leather that’s fire-, puncture-, and water-resistant, while Nomex fire-resistant triple stitching further enhances durability. Danner’s hand-crafted, stitch-down construction provides a wider platform for increased stability underfoot. The steel shank yields additional support where it’s needed most. The Vibram 360° Fire Logger rubber compound outsole resists fire and abrasions, while providing substantial edging and superior traction. NFPA 1977; 2011 edition certified. 10” shaft height.
