what a great idea...i use it to attatch my anchor line to an 18 foot aluminum and have used it in some really big tides so far. it is easy to adjust for anchor depth and you can let out more line with the touch of a finger. it is very sturdy and seems like it will last a long time..so far it is worth every penny i paid for it

I just started useing the danik hook anchor system, because the first one you sent me was defected.I sent it back. The new one you sent me, I used it twice under windy conditions and it did a good job , easy to use. Lot safer than the old way.It to early to tell if it a good product. So I can't recommend or rated it at this time. it at this point.Ask me at the end of boating season. It looks like it going to be a good product.

Comments about Danik Hook Anchor System:
I thought these hooks were a little expensive when I ordered them, but realized the heavyweight quality of them when they arrived.
I bought two of these to use with 2 shore spikes for shore anchoring our pontoon. They work easily to tighten lines without ever leaving the boat deck.
On a personal note: If you order Shore Spikes, take the time to remove the decorative paint that they put on the rubber grip handle. I didn't and ended up having red paint all over my hands and my boat interior.

Comments about Danik Hook Anchor System:
Product works exceptionally well. Pricey but worth the money. If you anchor your boat off shore or off the riverbank it makes hooking your boat up a snap.

Comments about Danik Hook Anchor System:
The "hook" was more like a shears. It completely severed an anchor line . Not at all safe for general anchoring or mooring in open, variable seas. Might be good in very calm or protected waters only. Not worth the risk of a severed line.
