At a full 9 lbs., this rifle is 39.5" long with a 20" heavy barrel made from 4140 chrome-moly steel. Other features include: a fixed A2-style stock, an A2 mil-spec front sight, an A2 birdcage flash hider, and a detachable carry handle. 1 in 9" right-hand twist. 30 + 1 capacity.

    Comments about DPMS Panther Arms A3 Classic Centerfire Rifle:

    I have the DPMS A3 Lite. I love everything about this rifle. You can;t say too much about the deisgn because they follow the M4 design minus the 1/9 twist (which is standard for most ARs) I have upgraded mine since I got it (Quad Rails, new backplate for single-point sling, etc), and it took ALL parts with no issue.
