Product Description

The .308 Oracle, much like it's 5.56mm little brother, is one of Panther Arms' most popular rifles due to its compact size, rugged military carbine features, and .308 firepower. Just add optics and ammo and it's ready to hunt or turn heads at the range. The .308 Oracle ATACS features an extruded 7029 T6 A3 flattop receiver and a 16" button-rifled HBAR 4140 chromemoly barrel with a 1 in 10" twist. The rifle uses a gas-operated rotating bolt that sits on a lower receiver milled from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum and hard-coat anodized per Mil Spec. The A3-style flattop upper receiver has a shell-deflector and a forward assist that are machined as one unit. The Oracle comes optics-ready with a Koeble single rail gas block and a rear mounting rail. DPMS 6-position Pardus stock with carbine-length GlacierGuards. A2 birdcage-style flash hider. Includes two 19-round magazines.

The Dpms is a nice long range rifel i havent got to shot it yet but i know some .308's can shot over 900 meters and im sure this one can to. with the rail system it is easy to mount a scope, the gun does not come with iron sights. the gun is 8.5 pounds dosent seem heavy but once you get it in your hands your arms start to hurt after a while. it has an injustable stock wich is real nice for swining the gun around in confinned places. this gun comes with a muzzel break wich is a plus to reduce recoil.
