Works great in my area

Cons

  • Needs good cell signal

Best Uses

Comments about DLC Covert® Special OPS Camera:

I hunt several farms here in Tennessee. The Special Ops works great on some of them, others the signal is too eratic to send pictures consistently. If you buy a special ops, you should be aware of this limitation. This would be the same regardless of what cellular camera you use. On the plus side, the camera is way less than the other options and for $10 a month I can send 1000 pictures to my email or cell phone.

Comments about DLC Covert® Special OPS Camera:

I had high hopes for this camera but it does not work for more than a few days at a time and then it will quit sending pictures. Sometimes it will still write to the card and sometimes it won't. I have had the same results in the field and at home. I contacted DLC's customer support and was told "They can be stubborn at times and have a mind of their own". I would not recommend this camera.
