Comments about Cuddeback Digital Cuddeback E2 20.0 MP IR Long Range Trail Camera:

I am not sure why my computer failed to find the SD card, but it finds it just fine now. I could not figure out how to edit my previous review so I wrote another one.
I was put off by the setup, but it got a lot easier after I set it up the second time in response to making a wrong selection. That first time, I had over 5000 pictures in one day. I had set FAP or fast as possible, but going over the settings a couple times, it becomes easier and once set like you want then you can forget it.

This is my first Cuddeback purchase. Quality design as you would expect. Controls/set up are a little more complicated than I like. Just put camera out so can't comment on quality of pics.

Comments about Cuddeback Digital Cuddeback E2 20.0 MP IR Long Range Trail Camera:

I make stills and videos of wildlife near my home in the woods.
It looks thoughtfully and well made. 20MP should make some nice HD videos. I have only seen the pictures and video the camera made while I was learning to set it up : )
The setup is a bit confusing at first and the EZ mode instructions and the ADV mode instructions should have been closer in the book. The camera switches between what the setting is and what has been selected rather quickly. It is a tiny bit confusing trying to understand with the screen switching so frequently.
The camera mount looks good for attaching to trees, but what if you don't have a tree where you want the camera? They sell optional mounts, but a tripod screw hole in the bottom would have been nice.
The arrangement of the folders on the SD card confuses Windows. I normally remove the SD from my camera and insert it into a reader. With other cameras, Windows finds the files which I can choose to IMPORT and select a block telling Windows to erase the files from the SD after importing. Stills are in one folder with videos in another. I won't be able to use USB 3.0 to download unless I go back into the camera afterwards and have it erase the files. It is hard to get my fat fingers ahold of the SD card since the card slot is friction and does not pop out by pushing it.
