Comments about Cuddeback Digital Cuddeback Ambush IR Trail Camera:
I bought 2 of these cameras in August of 2012. Since then they have taken many pics. Most of them actually did have animals in them! That is a plus for those of you who get home to find that the stick that was 30 ft. in front of your camera has been tripping your camera for the last month and all you have are pics of your field/woods! The camera is easy to use as long as you don't have to get in deep. If you do, take your manual. Getting into some of the special settings may take a few minutes but are pretty easy to follow. I use this camera for hunting. The trigger speed is awesome. The camera takes nice clear pics. Battery life in the fall if you live in a colder state is not great. Expect to replace your batterys every 3 weeks... no matter how many pics it took. I average 80 pics every 2 weeks. Also expect to have to reset the time every time you check the camera. Mine are always at least a couple hours if not up to 12 hours off. Don't know why yet. Need to call support. I have had one problem with them not taking pics due to a dirty lens. You will need to periodically take a Q-tip out there and clean it off. Other then that, camera works well. Would I buy another one? Maybe. I would like to try a few others before my heart is set on Cuddeback. I would really like to see them get some longer battery life. Not happy with that. Cost a lot to continue replacing batterys. Especially during the Rut when you really need it!

Comments about Cuddeback Digital Cuddeback Ambush IR Trail Camera:
The Ambush IR only detects movement out to about 20 ft. even thought the flash shows much farther. Also when taking photos at night a lens pops up inside for the inferred flash and it makes noise. The deer will hear it and check it out or attack the camera. For the price I expected a lot better. I do NOT recommend this camera.
