I purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend. Before purchasing I read the other reviews because I wanted to pick out a great jacket that would work tomorrow especially for late bow hunting season in Minnesota. It isn't as thick and heavy as other reviews stated. But impressed with the quality, it will be a great bow hunting jacket.

Received my Creekside jacket on time and shipping was free. The jacket is not bulky, but is plenty insulated for my hunts in the southern zone of NY during the regular deer season. I have yet to wear out in the field, but I did test it's claim as a waterproof jacket. I sprayed the jacket with the sink spray nozzle, the outer shell got wet but the inner liner was bone dry. The jacket has nice hand pockets with zippers to keep your hands warm. The price was the best I could find anywhere for an insulated waterproof jacket. I also bought the bibs that Creekside makes from gander, they are the same quality as the jacket. I would recommend you buy the set.

Been using deer hunting and fishing for 2 years both the jacket and the bibs work well and keep you warm and dry. I actually hunted 10 hours in a heavy rain one day/ collar and cuffs soaked but stayed dry for most part regular collar leak etc.
