Works good, but it's too big for a Johnson 9.9
There are smaller sizes listed on the packaging for mine, but this was the smallest Gander Mt. showed on their site.
It still works because the draw string will tighten enough to keep it on, just a lot of extra material flopping around.

Way oversize
Quality of the item is ok but it's way to big for my 35HP motor. Measure your motor before buying.

Comments about Covermate Outboard Motor Cover, 30"D x 16"W x 21"H:
Could have been a few inches longer, but otherwise a good, snug fit on a 135hp Merc two stroke. Very good cover for the price.

Comments about Covermate Outboard Motor Cover, 30"D x 16"W x 21"H:
The cover fits and works great, but the recommended sizes may not fit depending on your motor. Be sure to measure the dimensions of your motor before you order. I have a 2007, 75HP, 2 stroke, Mercury, but after measuring it found that i needed the larger cover. It ended up fitting perfectly.

Comments about Covermate Outboard Motor Cover, 30"D x 16"W x 21"H:
It was easy to install and the cover material is easy to wash when needed . Just make sure to close tight the rope as I recently lost one motor cover due to strong wind .

Comments about Covermate Outboard Motor Cover, 30"D x 16"W x 21"H:
I measured my outboard to make sure I got the proper size after reading other reviews stating suggested sizes too small. Sure enough after measuring my motor I had to get the next size larger. With that said the larger size fit perfect.

Comments about Covermate Outboard Motor Cover, 30"D x 16"W x 21"H:
This motor cover is just what I was looking for to protect my pontoon motor from the elements when out of the water. Good fit and pretty heavy material. I would recommend it to anyone.

Q:
#70923 motor cover is it the right size for a 9.9 motor?Asked on 8/2/2009 by Anonymous1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
You actually would need to take the dimensions of your motor and compare them to the ones we have provided. We do not have any way of cross referencing engines per cover.Answered on 9/28/2009 by Bryant C from Tech Department
Q:
will this fit a 25hp mercury obAsked on 3/11/2009 by akaskip from Springfield, Il2 answers
A:
I'm not sure of you motors overall size, but this thing is HUGE on my Johnson 9.9, so I'm sure you'd have no problem fitting it on a 25. Probably with room to spare.Answered on 4/9/2009 by B. Dance from PAVERIFIED BUYER
A:
It will be way to big. I have a 35HP outboard and it's a mile to big for it.Answered on 7/27/2009 by softtail from Allegan, MI
