i have a tige 20i and this cover doesn't fit very well. cover does not fit in the right spots and leaks at rear of my boat where the corners are. the rear corners hold water where they are sewn. i use a pole system to keep water from pooling, doesn't help! front needs a little more of a v design sewn in so it stays on. strap system is ridiculous and extremely time consuming when installing and removing. you have to loop the straps around boat trailer and loop thru strap itself in order to strap. not a very good design!

Comments about Covermate HD 600 Trailerable Cover for 20'-22' V-Hull Boat:

This is a great boat cover. I admit I was apprehensive about purchasing this cover, but very glad I did. It replaces a custom cover I've had for since the boat was purchased new in 1994, and cost about $350 way back then. This new cover not only fits great, but also keeps the boat cooler and much less condensation in the interior - which was always a problem with previous cover. Yes, this new covers material is not as thick, but does not seem to matter at all. Seems to be a better material. If it lasts the 5 years as per the warranty I'll be happy for sure. Probably last longer. I would definitely purchase it again.

Comments about Covermate HD 600 Trailerable Cover for 20'-22' V-Hull Boat:

The first one was stuck together when opening it the first time and pulled off the reflective silver coating in several places. The replacement came without any straps at all. The straps on the trailer are poor design, you have to remove them to dock unload the boat or wrapp them around trailer and easily run over, buckles break easily.

The straps the go over the top of the boat rotted within 4-6 months. They did send a replacement right away, so great customer service!

        • Mooring Cover Protection

Comments about Covermate HD 600 Trailerable Cover for 20'-22' V-Hull Boat:

I bought this cover to protect the mooring cover on my 21-foot Sea Ray while it is on the lift in a covered dock. It replaced a five-year old cover made of gray duck cotton that got ripped during a windstorm. Color and the ability to reflect heat was not important to me because the cover is not out in the sun. I was worried before I bought it that it would not cover the integral ski platform on the stern of the boat, but that is not a problem. Because my boat is on a lift, I was had to devise a way to attach the hold-down straps to the lift. The new cover is not as easy to install and remove as the old cover, but I expect that it will remain in place better than the old cover. I like the fact that the new cover is lightweight and durable, but it will take some experimentation to find out the best way to get it on and off.

Vents at stern where most rear seats/pads are. They do not stay open and have no screens. I had to buy new vents and install aft of windshield.
Material appears to be strong and very durable.

The cover is used on a boat which is mostly on a lift in a covered dock. I expect it to last beyond the warranty period in that it is protected. It appears to be of quality construction. It is a little more complicated to use because of the straps and the lack of bungee cords sewn into the edges. But I believe it will be OK.

can this cover be used to protect boat from rain and sun if installed while boat is moored in dock - in the water. Not able to use straps in this situation, just the elastic cord. Looking for easy on easy off, not trailering capability.
