Connelly has redone the velcro closure on the binding to be more durable. Also the plastic plate on the bottom of the binding has been changed to improve the product. This binding has been updated.

The Connelly Adjustable plate binding is comfortable and easy to use. Soft inner sole pad to stand on when skiing. Neoprene toe material that conforms to the foot. Velcro wrap adds support.
The front adjustment allows for a wide range of foot sizes.

We use the Connelly Eclypse combo set for a variety of skiers, from beginner to advanced. The binding listed was a direct replacement for the original that came on the skis. It held up even worse. Poor engineering, making the BIGGEST part of the binding, the toe-piece, the MOVABLE part. It MOVES RIGHT OFF THE SKI in virtually any fall. Plus, it is nearly impossible to adjust the toe piece once you are in the water! Although I truly love Connelly skis, they have taken me for a couple hundred dollars with these bindings, but I am now ordering the cheaper and far more durable basic-heel-adjustable size 8-14 for <$50 each. These toe-adjustables, well, just don't buy them and maybe they will go away. They are that bad.

Comments about Connelly Front Adjustable Plate Water Ski Binding:

Bought a ski that had the 'old version' of this binding, which had the movable front piece come off regularly. Replaced it with the 'new version' which still comes off regularly. I do have enemies that I'd recommend this to, but no friends that I'd allow to buy it.

It was very easy to return this product since they did not fit my foot. I found Overtons very easy to deal with. This experience made me more sure they are my go to people.

The adjustable front part of the binding comes off of the mounting plate. It can be put back (make sure you have tools on board) but it gets worse and worse. I've had this binding for a year and a half and it is now no good. The front part is actually bent side to side now.

Most of the time is the binding and ski are newer then 2003+ and are of the same company, you can just swap them out. If they are of different companies or 1 is older than 2003, you will most likely have to drill new holes and epoxy the old holes.
