This is a great ski for beginners and bigger skiers who primarily do deep water starts. Unfortunately, the binding is garbage. We have been using this ski for 3 years, and have literally gone through 3 bindings. What's odd, is that this ski is used less than any of our ski's, and this is the only ski that we have ever had to replace a binding on. If you can afford a new binding every year, go for it. If you are looking for something that will last, I would recommend upgrading to a higher end binding or different manufacturer. I have a attached a photo that shows were the binding breaks every time. It's really just a poor design.

The best and most fun ski I have ever been on. The only thing that could be improved is the rear toe plate, it is a little tight and hard to get your foot in.

I have been skiing & barefooting for years. I have had some back and knee problems and quit skiing two years ago. After seeing and talking to a couple of people who have bought this ski I decided to give it a try and ordered one! I was actually really surprised how well this ski performs. I can make very tight turns, deep water starts are extremely easy and I am know skiing regularly again. Its no Connely Concept but if you are a bigger skiier this thing really works!!

This ski is awesome. I am a big guy and getting up on one ski at my age (48) was challenging. That was until I tried the Big Daddy. This ski allowed me to get out of the hole in the middle of the lake. Once up, it was smooth and sturdy. I really like the ski. What was even better was the service I received from Overton's. The ski arrived exactly as promised. Friendly phone support made ordering easy. Thanks Overton's!

Connelly has a problem. All skis with these type bindings are poorly designed. They are made in [*] and the top boot has a plastic lip that fits over a plastic runner attached to the ski. These 2 parts WILL SEPARATE. This can happen in a fall or if you lean and dig the ski in. We bought 2 different Connely ski models and both have this binding and both ski types have had this same failure / problem. BAD; CHEAP DESIGN. Very Disappointing.
