When Classic Doubles International discontinued business, the principal owners still believed in the Winchester 101 design and concept. On returning to New England, they formed Connecticut Valley Classics to continue the 101 design in an American made gun. The Grade II Classic Sporter comes standard with an 11mm wide flat ventilated rib rib, 3" chambers, a Bradley-style white front bead, barrel side vents, a jeweled monobloc and ejectors, and a slim Schnabel forearm. The checkered AAA-grade American black walnut stock has a low-luster finish to prevent glare. The sturdy boxlock action is made from monoblock steel. The receiver is stainless steel with light engraving. Lengthened forcing cones and a automatic ejectors ensure worry-free function in the field. This shotgun comes with improved cylinder and skeet choke tubes. Its wood, metal, and bore are all in very good condition.
