Product Description
Performance Metals takes the guesswork out of knowing when to change an anode. These wear indicator anodes have a red plastic indicator embedded within that appears on the surface when the anode wears to half its original size. By simply inspecting the anode for the dot, you can easily determine when to replace it. Made of a special aluminum alloy which provides better protection, is environmentally friendly, and is 2 1/2 times lighter than zinc.

              I called Overtons before ordering this kit to ensure that a trim fin anode was included. They told me that it was. When I received the kit and opened it up, I discovered there was no anode trim fin, but instead there was a trim circular plate to install in place of the fin. I will be testing the boat tomorrow to see if the steering is changed without the trim fin. Also, the aluminum plate that goes on the front of the outdrive was not machined properly and was very difficult to install. I would not order this kit again
