Comments about Columbia Womens Newton Ridge Plus Mid Hiking Boot:

Loved the boots. Loved the color, something other than brown. Bought the size 8 1/2 in the store. Took back b/c very tight. And my toes were at the very end. I'm normally 8-8 1/2size. Loved the color. And very lightweight. They also said they were waterproof. So I went online and ordered a size bigger, the 9. Thinking that they would give me a bit of toe room and it wouldn't be quite so narrow. Well they came and the size 9 was too big on me and was just as narrow. The 9 felt strange, it was significally bigger than the 8 1/2. When I walked the top of boot dug into my big toe and made it hurt. So they had to go back as well. So back to looking for another pair of hiking boots.
