Great shoe, comfortable for hiking, walking, even running. Has a bit too much grip for normal sidewalks, but works.

Returned the shoes. Great and prompt service, but had to pay for shipping them back (?).

Comments about Columbia Men's Whitney Ridge Low Hiker:

Very comfortable shoe with one major flaw. The mesh upper, where it meets the toe cap, is the natural bend point. This causes the mesh to wear through at those points quickly. I've had mine for less than 4 months, and the hole has appeared on both shoes.
