      These boot are really warm & the insoles are very comfortable. They're a little stiff when you first put them on, but break in pretty easily. They seem like they are made pretty well, although I haven't had them long enough to put them through any major abuse! They seem to be a little big for the size, which I like, because you can put on an extra pair of socks (which you may not even need, because these things are warm as heck) & not have your toes crammed into them.

        These boots are a good deal. They stay dry and are very warm. With wool socks feet will sweat in freezing temps. hiked in snow and mud with out geting wet or sliipng around.

              PLEASE know: these boots, though sporting some truly impressive design elements, are wholly insufficient to any sort of cold weather. I wore them for the first time yesterday in snow and 20F temps with two layers of socks. My feet FROZE. They froze outside and they froze indoors in an unheated room.

              I'm generally very impressed by Columbia products, but their claim that this boot is sufficient for sub-zero temps is an outright fraud.
