I like the new refinements to the ballistic fleece I own the original and was very happy with it, the fit is much improved and so is its ability to block wind the original Ballistic fleece was not as windproof. The updated colors are nice. I am a forestry surveyor and I depend on my technical clothing and this is a nice stand alone jacket or perfect under a Shell. The only draw back is it does not breath well so if you run hot like I do you will be uncomfortably warm if its warmer than 45 degrees while you are wearing this fleece. It does not wick moisture well either, I was out in the field for about 12 hours mapping a section of forest for lumber production and reforestation and through out the day my perspiration just accumulated inside the fleece and never really dissipated because the next day the fleece was still damp on the inside. My recommendation is save the jacket for cold weather use the venting works well to regulate if it's windy enough but does help manage the moisture. Over all I would recommend this jacket.
