Product Description
Initially known only as the Colt Automatic Target Pistol, the Woodsman was a unique sporting pistol based on a design by John Browning. The first series Woodsman can be easily recognized by its distinctive profile, which resembles the German Luger in the rakish grip angle. The medium barrel Woodsman has a small step down and then tapers to .525 of an inch at the muzzle. This first series Woodsman features a windage adjustable rear sight checkered wooden grips, and the original two-tone magazine that is missing its button. This pistol features aftermarket target-style grips and a 10-round magazine. Its grips, metal, and bore are all in good condition.
