Product Description
Initially known only as the Colt Automatic Target Pistol, the Woodsman was a unique sporting pistol based on a design by John Browning. Earlier firearms in this line did not come stamped with the Woodsman name and are therefore referred to as Pre-Woodsman pistols. The first series Woodsman can be easily recognized by its distinctive profile, which resembles the German Luger in the rakish grip angle. The medium barrel Woodsman has a small step down and then tapers to .525 of an inch at the muzzle. This .22 LR calibered pistol features a blade front sight with a rear notch, checkered wooden grips, a 2-position safety, and a 10-round factory magazine. Its wood and metal are in good condition and its bore is in very good condition.
